Our team have extensive experience in the delivery of training and curriculum products in a variety of settings, including schools, government services, Registered Training Organisations, health services and other national and international community training providers. We also work with specific communities to develop targeted training solutions to meet identified community needs.

Aboriginal Community Initiatives
Our team have worked closely with Aboriginal communities to develop tailored training programs that recognise First Peoples’ world views as a foundation for health and wellbeing while also encompassing ‘newer’ Western science to build knowledge ‘toolkits’ within communities. We work with remote communities to offer programs in community languages, using a variety of teaching and learning methods.
Cultural Immersion and Competency Training
SCHOOL PROGRAMS
We work closely with various schools and other education institutions to design and deliver training programs to support the integration of culture and diversity (generally) into school environments. This includes working with teachers, decision makers/leaders or counsellors, to develop targeted wellbeing programs, curriculum support, cultural immersion activities or planning activities.
Primary Care
We design and deliver a range of training products to the primary health sector through our work with Primary Health Networks. These have included the development and delivery of RACGP accredited cultural competency training, as well as skills-based mental health training.

ABORIGINAL AND TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID
A 14hr course targeting adults who provide support or otherwise work directly with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Young People (aged 12-30 years). The course provides mental health literacy training and skills for responding to mental health crisis.
Older Person Mental Health First Aid
12hr course targeting members of the community and aged care service providers wishing to gain a better understanding about the best ways to support an older person experiencing mental illness or a mental health crisis.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ‘Talking about Non-suicidal Self-injury’ Mental Health First Aid

ABORIGINAL AND TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER BLENDED ONLINE COURSES
These blended courses provide participants the opportunity to undertake half the course through self-paced e-learning, followed by a 5-hour live videoconference session. These courses include adult mental health first aid (for adults supporting adults) as well as youth mental health first aid (for adults supporting young people).
