Previous and existing projects

Mental Health

Our team have extensive experience in the development of skills-based mental health and wellbeing training products. We specialise in the development of training and coaching materials in areas including suicide, non-suicidal self-injury, gambling, substance use/misuse and youth mental health. Our team and collaborators have degree qualifications in social work, psychology and education.

Aged Care

Our team have developed a range of training products to lead community aged care teams in the delivery of consumer directed care and restorative care approaches. Training products have enabled aged care workers to develop specific skills in the delivery of aged care services in line with accreditation and legislative changes. We can also tailor training products to support service delivery in a range of areas including dementia care, palliative care and mental health in aged care.

Aboriginal Community Initiatives

Our team have worked closely with Aboriginal communities to develop tailored training programs that recognise First Peoples’ world views as a foundation for health and wellbeing while also encompassing ‘newer’ Western science to build knowledge ‘toolkits’ within communities. We work with remote communities to offer programs in community languages, using a variety of teaching and learning methods.

Cultural Immersion and Competency Training

We deliver a range of cultural immersion and competency courses to improve organisation’s capacity to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. We deliver sessions that support organisations to understand diverse world views, specifically as they may influence the delivery of health and community services, and to engage with local knowledge holders to build local and sustainable community partnerships. We specialise in cultural training to improve human service delivery across a range of sectors.

Primary Care

We design and deliver a range of training products to the primary health sector through our work with Primary Health Networks. These have included the development and delivery of RACGP accredited cultural competency training, as well as skills-based mental health training.
